Another surprise to me is that many of the contributors preferred distance online learning compared to F2F as it enabled a somewhat more comfortable existence and also allowed to take place at a time and location of the contributor's call.
The last surprise and one I believe is just how much F2F professional pearning can be destroyed by just one person- either the know-it-all or the "loud one". For many, both these "types" are massive turn-offs of F2F learning.
