One back to the past moment for the contributors was when we were asked about the need for explicit tution of word processing. Having taught over 150 Year 9 students in Digital Thinking & Problem-solving so far this year, I can attest the huge need for such a functional skill in my teaching area. This could be at the basic level of students writing up from their learning reflections to being able code more efficiently and effectively. Either way, those with proficient word processing skills in my experience and indeed others find online or digital learning far more enjoyable and I'd argue also sustainable.
